Shot taken from second floor of Mar Roxas High School (Metro News) Fire destroys 50 houses in Manila MANILA, Nov. 5 (PNA)–A fire broke out at a residential area, burning 50 houses in Paco, Manila, on Thursday afternoon. The fire resulted to massive traffic in the area. Supt. Felixberto Abrenica, chief of Manila Fire Bureau, said the fire which broke out at 4:38 pm started at the house of one Boy Quimbo located at 1537 Interior, Canonigo St., Paco, Manila. The fire reached fifth alarm and immediately engulfed the house of Quimbo. The blaze immediately spread toward adjacent houses before firemen declared it under control at 5:40 pm Most of the houses were made of light materials and damaged to property was placed at P200,000. The cause of fire remains under investigation. No one was reported injured during the blaze. (PNA) RMA/JES
