dnci14 you’re obviously Filipino n a Manny fan I don’t know better than the producers of the show i just have common sense. It’s HBO’s n Arum’s obligation as promoters to make the match more compelling so they can make more money. I’m just sick n tired of people who pick Cotto based on the “fact” that they think Manny’s not as prepared as Cotto since he has “tension” in his camp. Im also annoyed that ppl question his training for this fight because of HBO’s stupid propaganda. part 4 better b gd
As far as Cotto being boring or not as interesting as Manny I agree with that. Yes Manny has more going on in his life that you can’t help but put it on the show But as far as the emphasis on this so called “tension” is blown out of proportion by HBO. Been following Ellie’s vids on ESNEWS, granted that he’s a fan of Manny, he’s still more objective than 24/7 They add too much unnecessary drama I can understand if they talk about it on the 1st episode. but all 3 is just pretentious n premeditated
as far as i can see, they’re just trying to monitor what both camps are onto… Cotto doesn’t have tv appearances, cotto aint got a dog traveling from somewhere named “pacman”, cotto doesn’t have a film… He’s too serious in training that HBO can’t film anything unusual/cool/strange he’s up to, rather than eating puerto rican cuisine in their mansion and diving the pool with his family…
jeez… If you know better than these HBO producer dudes then you should work there.
And what about Manny’s dog being left behind??? Who fuckin cares seriously! They’re makin it seem like it’s gonna affect him if his fuckin dog is not there? Listen to the opening statement in episode #3 then you know that its so fuckin bogus. Bottom line is that according to Vegas Cotto is the underdog but not by much. HBO knows this. Arum knows this. So what do they do!? They create a storyline on 24/7 that hype up Cotto and make people worry about Manny’s training. It’s so blatantly obvious!
DUDE, you obviously like to ASSUME things! i’ve seen the first THREE episodes. every episode they always point out the “tension” within the group. They show an interview of Freddie talkin about Koncz n how he’s pretty much useless to the team. Again with the beef between Alex Ariza and Koncz. They show Manny filming a movie that was filmed like ages ago. They show him doin a TV appearance. Meanwhile they just show Cotto training and spendin time with his family. The show seems uneven and bias.

you are absolutely right. I am surprised others have not seen this. 24/7 have been biased with pacman making him look dumb. It’s just to hype cotto and sell tickets/bets. I think they know pacman still has the edge, they just want to “look” objective by bringing pacman down.
@mig204 to be real after what i heard this morning on the news i dont even want to watch the fight,them 2 pussys had a stipulation in the contract that cotto cant come in over 155 pound on fight night!

I seriously think HBO and Bob Arum is in cahoots with each other. They’re both trying to even up this match since Pacman is the favorite. They tried to focus too much on the negative stuff during Manny’s training camp on 24/7 and made it seem like he’s not focused on the fight. It’s all a bunch of baloney. Bob Arum wants Manny to win bottom line…Why? Because the biggest payday is obviously the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.
ok manny has the power n the speed to ko cotto if pacman dossent finish him under 5 rounds cotto will beat him cotto needs to fight smart n keep distance against pacqiou .cotto has power also enought to ko pacqouiu because cotto is at a higher wieght class n of course hes stronger butt cotto has a glass chin thats his problem but im going with cotto on this fight good luck to manny tho
