I could not sit through John Carpenter’s Halloween, suspense is good but in the old Halloween it was killing me. Meyers is a good character and was after all created by Carpenter. Rob Zomble took an awesome story and made it pschological. I like the ending of H2 I saw in theaters, the one I rented on Blue-Ray had a diferent ending and I was like WTF? But yeah both new Halloweens were excellent. They should not make more, the ending to the second one was perfect.

i fucking hated john carpenters one it was crap. but then came along rob zombie and done a kickass remake then halloween 2 was prety good as well

I liked the first one Rob did. The first time I saw this movie though, I really hated it, but I did watch it again when it came out on DVD and I kept an open mind about it, seeing it as a stand alone movie and it was very good. When u watch this movie, don’t expect a traditional Halloween or Michael Myers movie, don’t expect any of the things you’re use to and keep an open mind and you might enjoy it, but if u think of the REAL HALLOWEEN series, then you will most definitely hate this one

@dodgydirk yeah, Rob Zombie never really tells us what year these movies take place but a lot of people believe Halloween II takes place around 1995
