There are several social injustice violations under Gloria Arroyo. The Maguindanao genocide is the worse. Hope you all know that Gloria Arroyo and Gilbert Teodor were informed back in August, 2009 of possible clash involving military with the Ampatuans. This could have been avoided but they chose to ignore. So people, you know who failed to stop this massacre.
I do not understand why Ampatuan are killing their fellow muslim brothers and sisters especially the women. They do not have regards for their faith and religion. Koran is not teaching to kill fellow muslims. I do not think they should belong to Muslim religion or even allowed to read Koran because they do not practice what’s in the Koran. Ampatuans should all be wipe out from earth.

As a Muslim, they should be tried also in SHARIAH court, which is much easier and quick too, all you need is 4 witness to testify and the sentence is also an EYE for and EYE!!! so when they find them guilty and they should get a punishment as what they did to the massacre victims!!! I really hope, that this is the end of Ampatuans!!! It’s actually the government to decide to punish this people, even if they didn’t, MAGUINDANAONS will get them too!!!!
this beautiful song made me cry actually. People in Cotabato are good and hospitable people, we just got caught between politics! I just hope, people don’t use the religion as an excused to bashed each other, I am product of inter-religion marriage. Religion fighting in Cotabato is not that bad as what they described in the media. We Muslim and Christian get along, it’s just too bad that the politics made it so bad. We muslim people want this Ampatuans to disappear on earth too!!!
Thanks a lot Pinaswatcher. Growing up in Cotabato knowing some of Ampatuans back then, they were not that rich at all, and they were not in politics. But as soon as Gloria went to power, my mother used to complained how abusived this Ampatuans are!!! I remember my mother told me that one of their brother got killed, and the people (including my family/neighbor) was so happy, that they were wishing for all of them to die!!! Cotabato is beautiful place as what this song is describing,,,

I was so shocked when the news came out about this massacre. Mindanao is a beautiful place with so many loving and caring people. It is a shame that politics became the involvement in this crime. It is not the muslum or christians at fault, these two religions do live in peace with one another. It is the mindless uncaring, selfish fanatics who do not care for peace but bloodshed of fellow Philina’s.. I pray each day that Philippines as a nation will once again be as one and live in harmony, peace and love.
I visit Mindanao often and love the people there very much. Their hospitality always pulls at my heartstrings..
