How I Lose Weight + Food Tips

Check it out! *********************** Here’s the low-down on what I’m doing to lose weight and how it works. 1. Figure out what your “maintain weight” calories are and eat 500 calories LESS than that number every day. 2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes, 5x/week. 3. Drink water! Divide your weight in half and drink that number in ounces of water every day. (4. Make healthier choices as you go along and get better at doing steps 1-3.) FROM THE VIDEO: The salad is: 1 Bowl of Romaine Lettuce and Spinach 2 Tbsp Light Vinaigrette Dressing 1/2 Tomato, sliced 1/4 Cucumber, peeled and sliced 1/4 Cup Garlic Feta Cheese = around 110-130 calories :D YUM! Green Tea (and similar Asian teas), English Breakfast Tea and Irish Breakfast Tea need no sweetener if you use 1 Tsp of lemon juice instead (0 calories). Vanilla chai (and decaf vanilla chai), peppermint tea and bangal spice teas all also need no sweeteners or additives of any kind. If you have questions, feel free to ask!

    Agreed, too many people skipping meals hoping it’ll lose them weight…it might, but it’s going to be water weight and muscle, not fat. Eat right, Exercise.

    I think that maybe you should start drinking more water and eating more fruits and vegies you don’t need to go on a crazy diet but you should try and cut out most of the junk food if you eat any and you should get more exercise may be go for a walk after you eat dinner, AND DON’T SKIP MEALS!

    and just drink water every day and only water, no soft drnks like coke or any of that fruit juice shit, which is highly misleading and makes you believe that stuff is healthy, Dont trust what the corporations tell you! All those basterds care about is money, they dont even use their own products cause they know how fucked up they are, i.e fast food industry etc

    @yungeezzy eat fruits and vegitables, 5 serves of vef,3 of fruit. eat more plant based foods rather than meat based foods. tofu,broccili,spinnach etc. remember SUGER IS THE ENEMY!

    @TeamKilday Thnk u so much, that made me feel so much better but im a really different girl. I’m 11 and I’m 5ft tall and I hit puberty couple of years ago and I don’t know how to lose weight. I go to basketball every Saturday from now one for 2 hours and I use the tredmile for about 10mins or over until I hit at least 1 mile. :)

    ‘They’ say that you should aim to drink 8 glasses/1 litre/33 ounces of water a day just to keep yourself hydrated enough to maintain your body. When I was pregnant and had a lot of fluid retention I tried to drink 2 litres a day and to make it easier/fun, I would measure it out in 1 cup/250ml/8.4ounce servings. It was quick to drink in this portion size and drinking 4 of those before lunch and 4 after lunch made it really easy to get through.

    Honey, at 11 years old you are perfect the way you are. Your body will change SO much when you hit puberty. My next door neighbour was a chubby little boy…then he turned 14 years old and the weight just fell off because his body changed so much with new hormones. Have fun while you’re young and worry about bigger life issues when you’re older. Just eat well and play games/sports and you’ll be fine as you get older. :-)

    a) Discussed why it’s important to continue to enjoy foods, but in moderation
    b) Shared that losing weight requires W-O-R-K ! There are no short-cuts when it comes to losing weight. Cutting back on calories and exercising more is the perfect combination to weight-loss success.

    I think the point is to lose weight and enjoy food. I don’t know about you — but I like her idea a lot better ( I absolutely love feta cheese!). Not to mention it’s really hard to eat 4 small meals a day when you’re busy.

    And also — training for intervals isn’t a great way to lose weight. You lose weight by getting your heartbeat up. So training for 30 minutes straight will work better.
