The Expositor held the first of four scheduled political forums on June 10, 2010, at White County Middle School. Candidates in the Aug. 5, 2010, General Election, who are seeking the offices of sheriff and county executive, were on-stage to answer questions submitted by the public. Questions were also taken from the audience. Candidates in attendance included Guy Goff, candidate for sheriff; Oddie Shoupe, candidate for sheriff; Barry Cooper, candidate for county executive; and Terry Whitson, candidate for county executive. Herd Sullivan, candidate for county executive, and Brent Farley, candidate for sheriff, were not able to attend the forum.
