Majority of all Mayweathers have glass jaws. Thats why the gift of reach was bestowed upon them. Combine that with defense, it allows them to control the fight from range. A true fighter gets inside. Lights out, like Floyd Sr., Roger Mayweather, and thats why Floyd Jr. stop brawling in welterweight. Floyd Jr. brawled with Corrales but as soon as he moved up. He became pure boxer.

Yeah (Cosell?) was hating really hard on Ray. Everytime he busted him with a shot he says “he’s not hurt by that” or “he slipped there” or “the crowd yelled but he didn’t do anything”. It’s obvious Ray was in control the whole damn time. Blatantly biased.

Looks to me that Leonard underestimated Mayweather and wasted a lot of punches early. He seems to be trying to prove something to Mayweather or to the media. I can’t tell the size difference but it also seems like Mayweather is difficult to hit from the outside.
He fought for a belt in his second to last fight of his career, USBA 147 belt vs Marlon Starling. Besides him and Sugar, Floyd never really fought good competition. Sugar was going real easy on him. Sugar almost looks like hes sparring. Anyway…Floyd retired 29-6
Leonard felt sorry for Mayweather and held back quite a lot and probably could have murdered him if he had wanted to.
