I think Mayweather sr is getting himself together, and has probably cooled off with age.
I have heard that Manny Pacquiao will take Mayweather sr. not as a trainer in his next fight, but for knowledge of “Public Speaking” and “Poetry”. Mayweather sr. is a lost soul. He does have good relationship even with his son. Mayweather sr. a damaged pride, a damaged brain and an empty talk that made him nothing but a lonely man! That’s what you get when you speak ill against your fellowmen. Hatton is a good and strong fighter but a wrong trainer!!! ….(no offense to anyone. )

Love Big Floyd man, he laid the fondation down for his son. Deep down Little Floyd knows his Dads the man,at the same time he resents his Dad because there was a lot of times Big Floyd wasn’t there for him as he was growing up.
I respect Floyd Sr. If you watch his early fights you can see where Floyd Jr got his style from. The guy put time and work into his son at an early age; something few AA fathers even bother to do, but he gets dumped on repeatedly for being “too hard.”
Where would Floyd Jr or any of them be without Floyd Sr, who was the “first” mayweather of all of them to box at all.
People forget very quickly who helped them once they get to the top, Roger Mayweather included.
He wasn’t training Hatton when he fought Mayweather jr.
then y did he train hatton to try and kill his own son???
I love all the Mayweathers, Floyd Sr, Jeff, Roger and Floyd Jr, I met Roger and Floyd Jr very funny guys, but as for Floyd Jr well he aint scared of on one but I think he fears his father, there is something of a dark secret going on.
well floyd sr. was floyd jr’s trainer until floyd sr. went to prison for drug trafficking. Roger Mayweather than became floyd jr’s trainer, and then when floyd sr. got out, he thought he was still going to be floyd jr’s trainer, but instead floyd jr. fired his dad, and kept roger mayweather. so floyd sr. began training other fighters like oscar de la hoya. Also it was because floyd jr. was tired of being bossed around like a little kid. and in hbo 24/7 he said that his father would beat him.
